What I do: I work in partnership with our enterprise clients to develop and implement SMMP service lines, such as global hotel and venue procurement, full-service event planning, attendee management, web registration, event technology development and overall centralized meeting management strategy driven by our business intelligence platform.

How I got here: I’ve been in the event management industry for 13 years—starting as soon as I graduated from college with a journalism/public relations degree. I’ve marketed/sold venue space, managed high-end weddings and corporate galas, as well as worked for a large national association where I sourced, planned and executed 2,000- to 3,000-person educational seminars and large collegiate student-athlete championship events.

Impressive stats: I managed an enterprise account with more than 70 percent growth in revenue from 2015 to 2018. I also managed 11 direct reports between two accounts in 2018.

What I’m working on now: I’m working with a team to develop an internal database, that can connect into our BI tool for enhanced transparency and use of our virtual workforce.

What I do outside of work: I have four kids (11, 10, 4 and 2), four cats, two dogs and a gecko. We don’t have much free time, but most of it is spent at a soccer field for my two oldest daughters’ travel soccer teams, at their school volunteering, or remodeling our house.
