It’s tough to absorb large amounts of digital marketing information and then distill it into easy-to-understand keynotes and sessions for meeting industry professionals. But Washington, an incredibly popular speaker at Collaborate Marketplace, makes it look easy. She started in hospitality sales and revenue management, but in the early days of social media, it hit her that organizations could build relationships with clients and consumers using these new tools. She left her position to start her own marketing firm, and soon clients including Google and British Airways came calling. Washington now teaches about social media through keynotes and workshops at various events.
