5 Classy Portable Restrooms for Outdoor Events

By Michael J. Solender, September 8, 2017

All those glamorous outdoor events you see in magazines, held at the top of a mountain or perhaps out in a field, are a sight to behold. But hosting an alfresco event out of walking distance from typical, ahem, facilities has a much less glamorous side: portable restrooms. The good news is we’ve come a long way from Port-O-Potties (Google “Pippa Middleton wedding portaloos” to see toilets fit for a princess—or a princess’ sister—if you don’t believe us). Flip the lid on these luxe options.

> Colorful floral-themed restroom cottages dubbed Rose and Daisy welcome guests at events serviced by Posh Event Cottages. Air-conditioned and heated, these brightly decorated portable restrooms have LED lighting, locking doors, porcelain flush toilets and stainless-steel sinks.

Johnny on the Spot Diamond Series restroom trailers are contemporarily decorated conveniences featuring faux marble walls, wood-laminate flooring and large vanity mirrors. Wooden doors, porcelain sinks and stereo sound systems complete the formal appeal of
these loos.

Kohler Rental Services brings multiuser luxury to large events with its 32-ft. ADA restroom trailer. The unit has seven facilities (three each for men and women and one fully ADA compliant lavatory), Kohler porcelain toilets and sinks, air conditioning and heat, full-length mirrors and a sound system.

> Come rain or shine, Ameri-Can Engineering’s 820 Veranda Royale trailer has you covered. It features an enclosed hallway, one-piece designer vinyl floors; a hand-washing station with oak storage cabinets and Corian-styled solid surface tops; framed mirrors and overhead lighting; air conditioning; and Amish-crafted woodwork coordinated with designer wall board.

> The four-stall Versa Series luxury mobile restroom trailer by Professional Restroom Solutions provides plenty of interior space for attendees to move around and has flushing toilets, solid counter tops, stainless steel sinks, simulated wood flooring, soft lighting, ventilation fans, air conditioning and music.

Pro Tip
