That’s the idea behind the Rec Room, a gigantic fun space with a basketball court, a bowling alley, an adult-size slide and more inside The Kimpton Cardinal Hotel, which opened in April in downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Groups are already catching on to this active idea—more than 30 corporate meetings had booked the room at press time.
