Take Your Meeting Outside in Hollywood, Florida

By Sam Boykin, May 28, 2019

Sandwiched between Fort Lauderdale and Miami—but without the crowds and rowdy spring breakers—Hollywood has a laid-back appeal with plenty of attractions and activities to keep people entertained.

The city has dozens of parks, seven golf courses and family-friendly spots like Anne Kolb Nature Center. Situated on about 20 acres along the Intracoastal Waterway, the nature center is rich in native vegetation and wildlife, with a 3,500-gallon aquarium, an outdoor amphitheater, a 68-foot observation tower, a fishing pier, and miles of biking and hiking trails.

Another not-to-miss attraction is the 2.5-mile Hollywood Beach Boardwalk, which attracts hundreds of joggers, bicyclists and rollerbladers. This vibrant, brick-paved thoroughfare is lined with trendy restaurants—along with an eclectic array of food trucks—gift shops, a farmers market and the Hollywood Beach Theatre, where you can catch live music Wednesday through Sunday.
