Lupe Morin of the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas talks about the challenge of securing low rates without compromising amenities. “We’re always looking to make our conferences affordable for our members because our organization is membership driven. The women who belong to our organization do it for their own personal and professional development.” In the episode, Morin also describes how communication with members has changed over the years. “We’ve gone from paper copies of everything to registering online,” she says, “but that’s also a challenge because some of our members are not technology savvy.”
